Northwest Urogynecology, also known as The Center for Urogynecology & Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery is a division of Northwest OB-GYN.
Urogynecologists Dr. Linda Partoll and Dr. Sarah Hammil are board-designated and fellowship-trained in the sub-specialty of Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery. They specialize in the care of women with pelvic floor dysfunction. The pelvic floor can be damaged by childbirth, repeated heavy lifting, chronic disease or surgery.
Problems and symptoms associated with pelvic floor dysfunction:
loss of bladder or bowel control, leakage of urine or feces
descent of pelvic organs, a bulge and/or pressure; dropped uterus, bladder, vagina or rectum
difficulty urinating or moving bowels
Pelvic (or bladder) Pain
discomfort, burning or other uncomfortable pelvic symptoms, including bladder or urethral pain
frequent need to void, bladder pressure, urgency, or difficulty holding back a full bladder
As specialists who concentrate completely on urogynecology, Dr. Linda Partoll and Dr. Sarah Hammil can recommend a variety of therapies to cure or relieve symptoms of prolapse, urinary or fecal incontinence or other pelvic floor dysfunction symptoms.
